So….another body change to report. I’ve had to come to terms with the fact that I’m not going to be able to wear pants without some sort of stretch in them anymore. My legs have always been big (as in chubby) and created problems when trying on pants. But now, they are just beyond help. I’ve worked around the jeans issue, but it’s khakis and dress pants that are no longer an option. I’m going to have to put some serious effort into researching dress pants with either some gigantor leg holes, or some sort of stretch material. I’m sure I could find a modern version of black bar pants (wow, I haven’t thought about those in a while), but that’s not exactly what I’m going for as a government employee.

I found another ridiculous image while I was looking for some information on squat workouts today. Apparently there is a theory going around that squatting in stripper heels will actually give you better results. Check out this picture of Coco- Ice T’s girlfriend….
I have two things to say. Seriously- that thing is ENORMOUS!!! And for real….she has ZERO weight on that bar. How can that possibly be effective, even if she is wearing stripper heels?????
I did an intense squat workout yesterday (sans heels). My legs are still tired, it’s a fantastic feeling. I bumped up the weight to 125 for my working sets and my trainer made me to 12 reps instead of just ten on my 5th set….dirty. Then I did some basic good mornings and stiff leg dead lifts. My toes started cramping half way through the dead lifts. Always a sign of a great workout….for me anyway ; )
